Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Marks Record Participation at Saudi Food Show 2026

JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA — The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has marked its largest-ever participation at the Saudi Food Show 2026, the world’s leading food and beverage trade exhibition, with the grand inauguration of the Pakistan Pavilion at the Jeddah Superdome.

This year, TDAP is facilitating an unprecedented delegation of 30 Pakistani companies spanning key sectors, including Rice, Pulses & Grains, World Food, Beverages, Meat & Poultry, Flavors and Packaging Machinary. Demonstrating Pakistan’s strong agri-food footprint, 14 major companies from the rice sector alone are participating under the TDAP banner, reinforcing the country’s expanding presence in the global marketplace.

On the opening day of the exhibition, Syed Mustafa Rabbani, Consul General of Pakistan in Jeddah, alongside Dr. Shagufta Zareen, Minister Technical / Commercial Section, Embassy of Pakistan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Trade Counsellor in Jeddah, toured the Pakistan Pavilion.
“Pakistan’s largest-ever participation at the Saudi Food Show is a strong reflection of our commitment to economic diplomacy and export-led growth,” said Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani during his address at the event.

As part of the opening proceedings, Trade & Investment Counsellor Dr. Shagufta Zareen briefed the visiting dignitaries on stall locations, strategic country branding initiatives, pavilion architecture, media outreach, and the upcoming B2B matching sessions organized at the Consulate General of Pakistan.

Expanding the scope of participation beyond the exhibition floor, TDAP has composed an official trade delegation comprising 13 rice and meat export exporters. To facilitate maximum trade conversion, an executive networking lounge has been established within the pavilion for dedicated business-to-business (B2B) consultations. Additionally, the Commercial Section has invited high-profile Saudi buyers across the Rice, Pulses & Grains, Processed Food, Beverages, Salt, and Meat & Poultry sectors to engage directly with Pakistani exhibitors and delegates through targeted B2B sessions and an official networking dinner.
