KUALA LUMPUR, November 5, 2026 — Malaysian palm oil futures fell more than 1 per cent on Thursday, approaching a 25-week low as losses in rival edible oils and weaker crude oil prices put pressure on the market.
The benchmark palm oil contract for January delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange dropped 56 ringgit, or 1.25 per cent, to 4,440 ringgit ($1,093.33) per metric ton in early trading.

The decline extended the contract’s losing streak to four consecutive sessions, reflecting continued pressure from weaker prices across competing edible oils and the energy market.
