Four PayPak Credit Card Variants Planned

HBL Microfinance Bank plans to introduce the PayPak Credit Card in four variants: Green, Standard, Pink and Edge.

The different variants are intended to provide customers with greater choice and flexibility in meeting their financial and livelihood needs.

The initiative is also part of the bank’s broader plans to offer both conventional and Islamic PayPak Credit Card products. The expansion is expected to provide microfinance customers across Pakistan with access to additional credit solutions.

HBL Microfinance Bank Highlights Financial Inclusion

Amir Khan, President and CEO of HBL Microfinance Bank, said the bank views access to finance as an important means of helping customers move forward with confidence.

He said the initiative reflects HBL Microfinance Bank’s commitment to expanding access to responsible and innovative financial solutions.

According to Khan, the partnership will provide microfinance customers with greater choice, flexibility and convenience in accessing credit and making payments.

He added that combining HBL Microfinance Bank’s customer reach with PayPak’s domestic network and Euronet’s technology would help extend credit card access to customers who have traditionally been underserved by conventional banking products.

The bank expects the initiative to support customers’ livelihood needs while promoting responsible borrowing and financial inclusion.

1LINK Calls Agreement a Milestone for Domestic Payments

Najeeb Agrawalla, CEO of 1LINK, described the agreement as a landmark development for Pakistan’s payments ecosystem.

He said the first PayPak Credit Card reflects the strength of Pakistan’s domestic payment infrastructure and 1LINK’s focus on secure, convenient and locally powered payment solutions.
