Daraz Pakistan and UnionPay announce strategic partnership to accelerate digital commerce in Pakistan
Year-long collaboration will introduce exclusive savings for UnionPay cardholders and support the shift from cash on delivery to prepaid digital payments
[Karachi, June 24, 2026]: Daraz Pakistan and UnionPay have announced a strategic year-long partnership for 2026-2027, aimed at driving digital payment adoption, customer acquisition, and e-commerce growth across Pakistan.
Through this collaboration, UnionPay cardholders will be able to access exclusive savings and customer-focused offers on Daraz, Pakistan’s largest e-commerce platform. The partnership is designed to encourage greater everyday usage of digital payment solutions by offering customers a more rewarding, secure, and convenient shopping experience across categories.
As part of the partnership, Daraz will be adding UnionPay as a payment option and provide UnionPay with access to millions of digitally active consumers nationwide, creating opportunities to acquire new users, re-engage existing customers, and strengthen repeat transactions through targeted offers and seamless payment experiences.
The collaboration also supports a shared objective of accelerating Pakistan’s transition from Cash on Delivery to prepaid digital transactions. By incentivizing customers to pay through UnionPay debit and credit cards, both organizations aim to contribute to a more digitally enabled commerce ecosystem that benefits consumers, merchants, and the wider payments landscape.

Exclusive offers under the partnership will include:
Mega Campaign Day Offers: 15% instant discount on up to two transactions per day, capped at PKR 1,200, with a minimum order value of PKR 500.
New User Acquisition Offer: 20% discount for first-time customers, capped at PKR 1,500, with a minimum order value of PKR 1,000.
Weekly “Deals & Steals with UnionPay”: 12% discounts every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, capped at PKR 1,100, with a minimum order value of PKR 500.
The offers will be available nationwide, allowing UnionPay cardholders across Pakistan to access enhanced savings on Daraz Pakistan throughout the partnership period.
The partnership was formally announced at a signing ceremony attended by senior leadership from Daraz Pakistan and UnionPay.
